Im Tom - I’ve been thinking a lot lately . I have gambled bad previously . Still have over £10000 debt . But I’ve got a little girl now , a family and good focuses in life .
I wanted to create something positive from our struggles , and had an idea to create golf days for us gamblers that have over come the struggle to meet have a chat , have a round of golf , have a bit of fun , that sort of thing .Â
I’ve noticed it’s nice when can connect to people and talk , and it might help people who are gambling at the minute to help their journey.

its an idea , I’ve been watching a lot of simon Squibb lately and he asks what’s your dream , and always asks to try help others . I love golf , and if we can make something here like this and it changes people lives then it could be something good .

ill have to think how I can put something together.
Ive gambled in my life and regret a lot of pain I’ve done to my family .
but maybe the reason was to help others . Would be easier if gamcare allowed you to send out a group email and could easily get numbers together and create something . Not just golf but be plenty of activities to suit all . And just think togetherness and conversation and knowing you’re not alone helps people so much .
