As we approach xmas I just wanted to stick this post up to, hopefully, give people some belief and hope. When I joined the site in 2015 I was close to broken. I didn't believe that I could stop gambling but reading testimonies and advice from others gave me the strength to believe that it could be done.
It's been a long road with many challenges but it's now over six years since I last gambled and I know that I couldn't have done it without the help of those that went before me. I don't have a magic wand or a unique method but if my story can give one person the same belief or hope that I was given then it's worth it.
It's never too late to stop and you can re-claim your life.

Congratulations on six years gamble-free! And thank you for posting your success story. I'm sure it will give hope and inspiration to others. I know you said you don't have a 'magic method' but if you did anything that helped, whether it was posting on this forum or putting blocks in place or getting support from loved ones, please do post about it as I'm sure that would also help anyone who may be struggling.
