Sorry but I didn't see you reply so apologies for the late response. I think the recovery videos on there are excellent and actually made me try youtube and the ones on there so that was a massive help. Recording my thoughts has been good as I know I have something to look at and compare in six months, one year etc. The whole course was excellent and although some items state the obvious, to a compulsive gambler who has spent 44 years in that downward cycle I tried to bury it and forget about what it was doing to me. With that in mind the obvious isn't obvious. I've spent the last 8 and a bit weeks learning as much as I can for myself. I've recognised that the recovery industry is where I want to work to not only help other people but to continue to work on myself and be the best version I can, one small step at a time. I cannot actually recommend anything to improve Empowerme as it covers everything in an excellent way. I have worked in the publishing industry for 38 years so I guess I am well versed in how to get information to people and this course is excellent. It's only ever been mentioned to me in one chat so I do try and mention it on the chatrooms every so often when appropriate.
