I have a gambling problem myself (3 weeks gf) but recently noticed my older brother talking about gambling a lot. Also him and his wife are not good at the moment and have money problems. Now he may not have a problem at all but with what I have gone through I am really worried he may do. Maybe I am tarring everyone with my brush!
Is it unwise for me to get involved? Is it just my own problem making me worry?

I actually thought this myself about many others around me, i think you may be over thinking, maybe gambling was a topic of conversation between you and they are carrying this on. However, if you have a problem, maybe just concentrate on yourself at the moment and fight your battle. If you are concerned in a few weeks maybe mention something, or just say you are receiving help for your addiction and tell him about your help. if he needs it then he can pursue it himself.
