Hi Everyone

Excuse my ignorance but Ive heard that its possible to gamble through Facebook and other social media is this true? I dont use any of these sites so dont have a clue. Weve blocked all the obvious stuff, and Ive checked with our broadband provider and all the gambling and gaming sites are blocked but hes still managing to gamble some how.

Thanks

P.S

Just got my answer, seems its a no 🙂

Hi as67

Just to add a bit more to this, while some gambling companies introduced real money gambling on Facebook a few years ago, most seem to have withdrawn due to lack of interest. However it may still be possible to gamble on social media. There are also still many social games which allow 'in app purchases' of in-game currency for premium content and it is possible to spend a lot of money on these.

Ultimately you can't control your son's gambling behaviour which I know is difficult. You have mentioned previously that you are having counselling - perhaps this is something you can work through with your counsellor?

Warm regards
