Thought I could do this on my own , thought I was strong enough. Didnt gamble for 2 years, life was great, I was an ex gambler for a while. Paid for my wedding, bought things, I had 30 k in my account.
Then covid happened, working from home bored, found a way back in, last 6 months have been a roller coaster to the bottom, blown the 30k. Probably over 250k in my lifetime. Back to being broke, living a lie, sneaking, hiding, complaining, wife doesn't know what's up with me , I can't tell her I've failed again .......
I get my wages next week, I don't want to lose another penny, I'm sick and tired ,I cant believe I got drawn back in ,just want to stop forever.
Reading the stories here last night have helped a lot, I'm not alone with this disease. 1 day at a time, starting now.

I know how you feel and your not alone,I’ve been put on to nights since COVID started and was earning more money because of it and not being able to go out and spend it I should have been able to save for a new kitchen and bathroom and other things but no I blew it all every month online,I’ve had something drastic happen in the last few weeks to help me try and focus on giving up just hope it last.

Normally on a Saturday morning I'd have my day built around gambling. Today it's going to be different.
Still gutted, still angry, still a long way to go, but I'm on day 4 and counting.
