Just signed up as this is the start, I hope, of stopping gambling.
Over the last two weeks I’ve admitted to my wife about a £50k debt on cards due to gambling; have now left the family home and staying with a family member leaving behind 2 young daughters. Due to see them on Sunday though!
It all started with online blackjack then to b*****r with laying all types of sports to chase my lose.....a common story no doubt and unfortunately.
Looking forward to moving forward, without gambling and to pay this ridiculous debt off.

I was in the same position of you about 14 months ago. Same level of debt and a young family at home who I let down badly.
Good news is it sounds like you’ve hit the end or the road and from here it’s only going to get more positive. You’ve made a big mistake but it has been addressed and you’ve been honest which is the most important thing.
id seriously consider handing over your finances if you haven’t already. Take away the temptation from the offset.
I am sorry to hear you’ve left the home but hopefully now you can work towards gaining some of that trust back and concentrating on being the best dad you can.
