distraction from slots uk time AM

this is gonna be unique and will prolly fail and get me trolled and removed. but I have a slots problem ONLY. I need a chatroom or a few friends who can talk to me late at night UK time about 1AM maybe later and convince me not to slots and transfer my money to a standing account which is delayed then just go bed and not SLOTS. I am 40 soon. I am a great guy and I help everyone who doesnt betray me. my weakness is slots but I still want to gamble on sports and it works. ideally if there is a group gambling chat to distract my mind or a sponsor who can help or a few random friends who stay up late who can talk me out of it I can reach my desired level of control. I cant put this on normal friends they go to bed. EVEN if you want to help recommend a live chat room or counsellor who will be online LATE uk AM time. If you want to be a non gambling buddy and do two way support I am old enough and mature enough to go reciprocal if you want.

Hi 🙂  I am in the same position as you.  I have not long signed up to GAMSTOP and here to put an end to my never ending cycle.  Like yourself, my days are busy, family coming and going.  My nights are the worst, cant sleep, mind races, life driving me crazy..online gambling was distraction from reality.  I am on FB and I dont mind PVT messaging you.  Even if its something silly to share, joke or talk about life or you day at work.  Something that passes the time than the thoughts of "online gaming".  At least this way the chats will be free and you will start to save money 🙂

Sounds like you're always on the brink of gambling. From an outside perspective you need to develop a way to resist gambling without having to rely on someone online to keep you busy, sounds like a surefire way to slip up. Sounds like you gamble online, so it seems like you're always a click away from doing it. If you want to gamble, you will do it, i don't think talking to someone online will deter you. Good luck.

You have much to learn about a gambling addiction. People are scared confused and angry in the earlier days because its a devasting addiction which controls the mind.

As an addict thare is no desired level of control. Abstention is the only way as its not for you.

Are you ready to hear what we have to say? Its all about you feeling ready for a full recovery. How was gambling ever the answer in your life? I know what it does and how an addict gets hooked. 

A gambling addiction is actually a drug addiction. There is help for you. you will feel a serenity and a born again moment when you are ready to recover.

Talk about it more on the chat rooms. When you have no access to cash there will be a cold turkey period but the main thing is that you wont be able to gamble. Eventually the urges will fade and you will wonder why you were ever a gambler.

i have never heard such nonsense in all my life , how on earth as a 40 year old man can you expect someone to "convince" you not to gamble on slots in the early hours of the morning 

come on mate get a grip of your reality .....if you have that little willpower get the blocking software and move on with your life

Well said, if you are serious about giving up gambling you need to give it all up. The lottery is gambling, buying a £1 scratch card is gambling & so is betting on sports. You can’t just eliminate one aspect of gambling and continue if you are a compulsive gambler. The slots will come back, if you still gamble on other things. You need to look at the bigger picture go to GA meetings and talk to others seriously about your problem. 

Answer the 12 questions in the orange book and see where you are after answering them.
