Hi Everyone,
I have just joined this site as I am keen to explore ways to stop gambling. It scares me despite all the money I have gambled and the impact this has had on my family I still have cravings and urges to gamble. How do people find a way to leave gambling behind and replace it with other things that are fun but obviously cannot give you the massive high that gambling can?
My addiction is with online slots, they're a beast.
I have K9 software in place and don't know the password so I now cannot access gambling sites. I was a slot binge gambler and found that most of my wage would disappear. 're the urge I don't know if it will ever go away. I have been a gambler for over 20 years. I used to play slots at bingo halls before the industry made it accessible to play at home. The last few days I have had a very testing time at work and felt myself in my head drifting again into a separate world. It was definitely the escape factor that I am addicted to....Sitting in a room with family but tapping away on my laptop and ignoring everyone.. It does get harder but I can't continue spending hundreds a month. I cheat myself and my family
Affected by gambling?
