I have known that I have had a problem for a while. I have told people about my addiction but probably not been completely truthful in the amount of time and money I have spent on it. Today I decided it was time to make a change. I went to a gamblers anonymous meeting. I felt so embarrassed at first but I must say I have met the most kindest and inspirational people. I feel positive and hope that this new experience will not only help me to change my ways but also make some new friends

Hi Dancing Lou, and welcome. I joined this site approx 2 weeks ago and find that it is very helpful in the early stages of overcoming my addiction. We can and We Will quit. We owe it to ourselves and our families x
