hi, im new to this and dont really know where to start. i cant sleep after a disasterous day. today was payday, paid all my bills thought id have a cheeky go on online slots again, lost loads, chased the losses then cancelled some of my direct debits because id lost too much money to get by this week. i feel awful i cant sleep, i just feel so stupid, i just cant understang why i let myself do it. i know im not going to win, i know im going to end up feeling this way, and i know i simply cant afford it. im a secret gambler, none of my friends or family know i gamble, its so easy online, too easy to keep it a secret. so after feeling rubbish all evening and waking up with a knot in my stomach cos i know im going to struggle money wise this month ive decided im going to try and do something about it. so this is day 1...

Hi moving forward,

First step is posting and acknowledgement, well done for that.

Sorry to hear you’re have a tough time. Like many people say on here, you need to restrict all access to gambling and take it one day at a time. I’m there too at the moment, ruins people financially.. we can’t change the past but we can change the future.

All the best mate, dont let the conmen win.
