I understand and hear you. It is hard. I personally think all advertisements should be banned. Everyone knows its there already. 

Post here when you get your urges, ive recently learnt a new technique called urge surfing..it does help.

Sorry to hear this mate im really struggling too. May I ask what you gamble on? My downfall is the football coupons then when im in shop FOBT machines .

First, you need to accept that this is an illness and seek professional help. I've been an addict for 15 years and am three months into my recovery. I wish someone had told me this was an illness sooner.

Hi mate, yes it’s an illness best thing I ever did was give all of my finances over to my wife, she only found out one day when I took her debit card to draw out £200, but secretly over the past 10 yrs I have been buying and selling items to use as gambling and she has never known it was as bad as it was. I get my private pension next year and am so worried but my biggest nemesis is online gambling and I just put a 5 year block on my online sites.
