It’s great that you’ve started posting here. I hope you get feedback and support from other members.

You finished your post by wishing good luck to everyone in the same boat but you do not need luck to overcome problem gambling. You need to have a strategy to help you manage it and also understand why you gamble. There are many reasons why people develop a gambling problem and it’s usually not obvious. Counselling can help you self-reflect and understand your gambling behaviour in order to make a long lasting change.

I would encourage you to get in touch with an advisor by calling the Helpline or connecting online through the Netline.

Hi MrGold,

Sorry to heart that you relapsed, i read your first thread you were really struggling to forget your losses i lost the same amount how your coping with it, i am also struggling to forget the losses although its been 20 days since i lost.
