i just joined gamcare as i have been gambling now for 20 years ish, on slots in bookies and online casinos, over the years i have lost tousands to what i have got back, i need to stop it as its making me ill, i have mental helth problems which it doesnt help as i get more depressed, i know i have a problem as when i play even if i win i dont know when to stop its like vicious circle, so im winning then i think i can win more , then i start loosing and then i try to win back what i have lost, then it spirals out of control , i say i just put £20 or £30 in like its nothing but they all add up when you loose . my mood changes when i loose and while i play im just so fixated and think the big ones going to be next, but it never is, i think last week did it for me i was on a online casino and got my balacnce up to over 3500 euros , and i played and played upped my bets and lost it all, then i thought its time to get help as i cant stay in control , i have self excluded from hundreds of sites over the years and self excluded from the bookies localy in my area, i have given my bank card to my partner till i feel well enough in myself to have it, without being tempted to use it online, i feel ashamed of myself and hate myself for doing this , i just want to stop and be happy again 🙂
