I’ve been gambling since I was 17 I’m now 22 and all I do is think about it from 20 to 21 I did not gamble that whole year and randomly I had a thought to play with a few quid I ended up winning I felt like the man little did I know that was just the start of something big, every day before I head to work I gamble 100/200£ and honestly I’m fed up I’m trying to quit but I need to make some money, my friend sent me money to buy him something from my shop like a stupid idiot I decided to gamble it I won some money and lost it all now I have no way of paying him back until I get paid and I don’t know what to tell him, I need some advice on how to stop this addiction. It

Hello, sorry to hear this. Im in the same boat but not my friend my dad. 

I owe him alot of miney and he doesn't know I have taken it. 

I think the best way is to come clean and let him know you struggle with an illness but your getting help now and if the friend is a good one they would understand, and help you with your progress. 

I hope that helps and I should take my own advise as I haven't told anyone about this illness. I should as he wants his money tomorrow and I dont have it at all. Also cant raise the funds.
