Hi, today is the first day I have joined this site. I should have done something months ago. I find it hard as I don't have any friends, only family, and they won't ever understand why or how - online slots are my enemy, it isn't even like I am using real money when I just click deposit.... Every week I say I won't do it again, but the minute any money hits my account I'm putting it into one site or another, chasing all the money I've lost. I am here hoping to find support and friendship. I think I do it because I'm bored and alone and don't work, wishing I had money but even when I did win I'd put it back in another site. I can't do it anymore. I really can't. 🙁

Like you...I became addicted to online slots....every pound I had..and every minute of my time was spent on them....i thpught i had it all under control...all the balls in the air....all the peter/Paul juggling...all the lies...all the excuses to family and friends...well..like you ..I didn't...none of us can keep it under control....that's what addiction is love. .
We can change it though...I did..some 570 odd days ago...
Like you...I was scared what family would say....embarrassed that I had become an addict...
It certainlty wasn't an easy few days when it all came out....but life wasn't easy anyway when I was chained to an online slot machine...and it was never my life then....my addiction was controlling it....
Now....it's mine again..I'm in charge....
Id advise you to ring the helpline...they'll go through the basics with you....then read as much as you can on here...some you'll like....some you won't. .but it will all help...
My best help in the early days was blocking my broadband via parental controls....block the gambling option....it's impossible to get on any site then...
