Ok some background,I’ve been a gambler for about 25 years but in the last 10 it’s gotten out of control with out me knowing it and it’s come to something drastic to wake me up. For the last year I’ve been working night due to COVID and I’ve grown close to someone who’s made it aware she likes me,she pretty,funny,kind,just a great person.so what’s the problem.Well it’s that I’m ashamed she such a great person why the hell does she like me,I’ve got my house but do to gambling the heating doesn’t work the bathroom and kitchen and in c**P order I’ve got no carpets and as for the front and back gardens just don’t ask,I’m so ashamed I don’t like anyone coming round and I hide away.just don’t know how this all happened how I let it go so down hill so far,it’ll take £25000 at least to get it looking better Money I would have had if not for gambling and I could have paid the mortgage off! No one knows not even family
But tomorrow I’ve asked her out for a coffee and and hopefully gonna lay it all on the table to her (if brave enough) and we’ll see what happens,fingers crossed
