Hi, I've just signed up here tonight. I feel your pain, I've been checking this site out for the last couple of weeks. Think it takes a bad hit for us to try and do something about it. Feel good about admitting it, half the battle. I've just been on netline chat and got tel no for local counselling, maybe you should consider the same? You are not alone I been fighting it since 6 years and this years is going to be my turning point . I am going to completely stop this year .

If your problems is online gambling get rid off your cards cut them up and throw them away . I will than recommend you open a cash card account to keep your bills paid and your wages to go in to this way you can't use it online and will help you on your road to recovery . I was once gamble free for 6 months but once I got my cards back I was back at it again.

Also close down your online banking as you can still deposit money via this method . Close paypal and any other ways you can gamble .

Please get a plan in place soon. The last thing you want is for when your next pay goes into your bank and you maybe are tempted to chase losses again. It's one thing to abstain when you've "done" your money. The real test comes when you get hold of more cash. You need to hold on to that cash and use it wisely.

Put strong measures in place so you cannot gamble.
