Guys,

You have a choice. Either you can keep complaining or YOU can do what it takes to change things. That's YOU, not someone else.

YOU choose to gamble? Your choice, your responsibility, you deal with the fallout. The bookies/casino may tempt you but nothing and nobody else makes you gamble.

If YOU choose to overcome the addiction then YOU take steps to overcome it. Get to GA meetings, get counselling (phone back if you have to), follow the advice that you're given. Read the recovery diaries here on the forum.

Or don't do any of these things but then nothing will change.

Your call.

I phoned a helpline yesterday....they gave me a phone number and I was lucky to get a counciling session yesterday. I know it's going to be a long hard path ahead because when I left my session i so wanted to just go gamble on the slot machines!!! I've closed down my online accounts and started to make positive moves forward as I really can't go on, I would rather be dead than live this miserable life.
