How do you stop the thoughts? The impulsiveness? I can go from not even thinking about gambling to the next minute finding myself sat in front of a slot machine. I’m so embarrassed to go in and get myself blocked but I know it will the best thing for me. Is there a way I can do this without having to go in to the stores? I’ve come to the conclusion within myself it’s not even about winning because when I do win I put it all straight back in, I can never walk away I just seem to chase the next thrill. You dont have to go in to block yourself if you’re embarrassed! Theres a service called MOSES that you phone, they will ask for your info and a picture of yourself. They then circulate your photo/info to the shops you would like to be blocked from entering, and its all done without you having to visit each shop. I have included a link to their website (hopefully I am allowed to do that on here)
If you get in touch with them they can explain more about their service, its really helped me as I gambled online and in store.
The Gamban app along with Gamstop is really useful as well, as it blocks both UK and off-shore casinos.

I feel you on this im the same the only place I ever gamble is the arcade , i live is a small town everyone knows everyone and everyone is a gossip the admiral staff are the worst for it , with one even slating one member who they actually put on a time limit as a duty of care , as of today im back keeping my diary again i found this helped me last time so much , i dont want to undo all my hardwork as ive cleared so much debt
