New to the site today already have read several threads and glad to see there is some amazing support out there. I've been gambling about 20 years always chasing the losses and the wins could never be big enough. I'm in some debt now, about 30k should be able to payoff next year AS LONG as I don't gamble anymore. I had a great run yesterday at the casino but of course gave it back and lost even more betting sports that night. Being bipolar and gambling can really give you that buzz and high that is tough to get away from, the adrenaline seems to pump even more when I'm losing which is really a sick feeling. I gave up drinking and have been sober for 6 months so I intend to use that strategy I tell myself every night, when the head hits the pillow its another day sober. I need to get serious about this now before it gets completely out of control.

Same rules apply for gambling addiction and alcohol addiction is addiction no matter how it's dressed . Use what you've learned from drinking and that should help you with the gambling also . A step at a time is all it takes , just remember to keep moving forward.
A biggie amongst the pages is blocks if you block the route to gambling it can't take place.
