Any advice for a first time

Hi Jason and welcome to the forum , it's a huge first step when you come and ask for help so well done mate , I did the same 3 yrs ago and haven't looked back since :)).

I'm not sure what your story is , what you gambled on or losses or what youv'e done so far? so initially insted of me going through thing's, you might want to give " Mixers " thread a look at ? .It's at the top of this page under " Want to do something " and gives some really good advice about what could be usefull to you when you first arrive here , lots of links to other pages as well .

I hope this will help for now and sorry this is a bit short but I just wanted to say hi and let you know your not alone and I'll look forward to reading more of your story when you feel like sharing .

Many thanks Alan. Yes was a big step in making contact lots to share .not sure ready for that as of yet needless to say I have hit rock bottom .and want desperately to get back on track so to speak

No problem Buddy and all in good time eh ? . I know how tough those first minutes , hours and day's can be so just for today deal with what's in front of you , your head's probably a mess right now ? I know mine was and at the moment you probably can't see anything but problems ahead but truthfully everything's fixable , finances , relationship's but it doesn't happen overnight but it does happen one day at a time .

Thanks yes my head is everywhere at the mo but took another step by making contact with adaction to start that process and looked into a ga meeting have let a lot if people down through this and I no it's not an easy fix

Well yesterday I decided to get some medical help .I found my doctor to be very understanding it helped

Sorry to hear what you are going through.

Have you given gamcare a call?...that would be a good place to start. Believe me when you first talk about it, it weill feel like a massive weight has been lifted from your shoulders.
