I have been gambling for around 15 years and i need to give up, last year my wife told me to leave are family home because she could not take anymore, i feel sick that i would rather go and bet than stop and keep my family, iv never really seen it as a problem but over the last few months i know that i have to give up or maybe one day ill just give up and do something stupid. Why woud you ever gamble like this over your family?
I sit here and sometimes think is this really what my daughter needs from her dad, she could do better.
Then you wake up with no money and not even enough to go food shopping...
I hate this so much.
I have read some storys on here witch have helped me through this week...

Hi, you need to focus on your family and let go the relentless cycle of gambling. You will never win, that is why ********* et al have millions of pounds of shops across the country because they take money day after day from individuals. Take it a day at a time- you cant change the past but you can change your future. Take responsibility for your decisions and when the urges come, and they will, post on here and buy something for your daughter however small.

Hi mate very similar to myself it's horrible I know exactly how u feel, if u want to swap story's and ask each others opinions on ways to stop I along with everyone else here will try to help its a great place with loads if help coming here was the best thing I've done.
