Feel a little nervous about being on here and posting and a bit unsure of what to say; but i'll give it a go..
For a little while i have known that gambling most importantly online slots has been a REAL issue... the outcome of my gambling is really effecting my whole household;I just can't seem to help myself... even when i have a little win... that plus extra goes back into a site; i really need to break this cycle as i'm depositing more and more money to try and recoup losses and i literally will keep depositing until my payment method is declined.
i've had enough of wasting so much time and money on this and hope with support of this site and you all... i can get back to me being me and not me depending on an outcome of gambling... many thanks for listening/reading lol

I too had a problem with online slots and found it too easy to keep depositing.
I tried to give up using willpower alone but only made it to day 5 before lapsing and going crazy with deposits!!
I am now only on day 8 but took the step of cancelling my debit card with my bank. (hopefully have a Cashcard only arriving soon)
This might feel a little drastic but has resulted in me being totally unable to play slots online again... No matter how big the urge.
I can still do all my normal online banking and pay bills online via bill payment or direct debit but I can not shop online anymore.
This seemed a small price to pay while my willpower is so weak and if I want to buy anything online I can always ask a friend/mum/or hubby to order it for me and I transfer the funds needed to their account or give them the cash.
It is working for me, it could work for you too.
I am here to support you. We can beat this together and not let those greedy casinos get anymore of our money.
Keep posting... This is a great place to "Let it all out" when you need to.

After for such a long time denying to hubby that i had an issue and to find this site and read some of these forum messages it feels a little refreshing to hear of peole in the same boat and amazing success stories... i really hope that this is going to be me in time.
The bank card idea seems a fab idea... i'm also thinking of using the blockers is it that i've seen mentioned on other posts..
I'm still feeling like rubbish over my latest loss a few hours ago but i NEED to do this for my sanity, marraige and above all my 5 gorgeous babies!!!!!

Do it now, ring the bank NOW and cancel your card before the pain and determination to stop lessens in a few days and you deposit again.
Once it's cancelled you can not deposit again.
I tried the blocking software (others sware by it so I am not dissing it.) but it mucked up my laptop and would not work on my iphone. Cancelling your card makes depositing impossible on anything. (laptop, phone, tablet.) all in one hit.
The only downside is that you will have to get cash out to buy anything. I think that is great as actually handing over cash is helping me get back the true value of money. I lost the value while playing online... my money was just a number on the screen until it was all gone.
Anyway, sorry if I am preaching... It has just really worked for me when I honestly thought nothing would.

If I win I just give it back to the casino the next day or week...
If I lose they keep my hard earned money and use it to buy flash cars/houses/holidays..... They are greedy and will NOT get anymore of my money.
