I have given myself a real problem, since admitting to my wife that I have a problem with gambling. It's hurt me financially and I now owe nearly 3000 in payday loans
Hi Riggs, thanks for posting on my thread. I too took out payday loans to gamble with or was it i lost my own wage then took out payday loans to cover my living expences? Its all a blur! I made very very stupid decisions... A part of my brain was justifying it with the thoughts of 'well if i have to pay back xxx amout of money to these legal loan sharks then at least im not gambling it all away and fueling my addiction.
Anyway, I sorted out repayment plans with most of my creditors and to be fair they were all really co-operative.
I would highly recommend you take a look at this site; http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk
The info on there gave me so much convidence and just like on here made me realise that taking out all these payday loans isnt just limited to just myself, there are hundreds of people in the same positions.
Good luck mate.
Mark
Thanks Mark, I am putting them all into my DMP, yes I already have one, and I had to tell them what had been going on...painful really but they were understanding. I will have a look at that site you said...ironically there is a payday loan advert on there LOL! Good to know I am not alone!!
Affected by gambling?
