Hi everybody, I posted on here a few months ago stating I wanted to stop etc, and received great words of wisdom.

Things went well, I went around 4 months without gambling on anything, self excluded and was saving my money.

But just recently I have found myself going to the bookies in the next town and making frequent trips to the Casino.

The thing is though, I've actually been winning, and just can't seem to break the habit, I've put the money in a savings account but I'm just having the same urge to gamble.

A lot of it is out of boredom now I've finished university and haven't got a lot to do now. I have a good little part time job but I just don't want to keep gambling cause eventually i'll lose everything again, it's how the cycle works.

How can I repress the urges? Sometimes it's all I think about, luckily I walked out of the casino today 4k up and put it straight in my account, nut I just know the gambler will take over and i'll spend everyday in the casino till it's all gone.

Any advice is much appreciated, thankyou.

Will you continue to win the answer is no ! Your not that old as left University Bank the Money keep it treat your family yourself it will go !

Boredom is the problem people don't realize how harmful it is

Boredom is that frustrated sense of having nothing interesting to do. It is the companion to loneliness and depression for when we are bored we are disconnected from a positive connection with our self. We no longer have a felt sense of our self as a productive, engaged, energized individual interested in our activities. When boredom continues unabated we can suffer classic symptoms of depression that include frustration, low energy, decreased motivation, emptiness, negative self-image, and long hours sleeping.

So don't be negative keep the money stop Gambling read the forum about all the other bored people including me
