Recently relapsed after 10 months of being gamble free. The bans don’t work for me I always find a way round them. Land based or online.
Looking back at those 10 months I was so happy and didn’t even think about gambling however the last few weeks I have lost all my savings now I’m just tormenting myself over and over in my head asking myself why I have done this all over again. I’m only 21 and thought I had beat it however I guess not. Cannot believe I’ve done it again
I relapsed after 2 years.it is worse this time because I took out over $60k and gamble it all. Negative bank account and a huge debt. Was not able to work this week because I feel sick to my stomach. This probably my wake up call. We're not alone. Let's try again and this time try harder.
You managed 10 months so that is incredible! You should feel proud of yourself. I’ve tried and tried but every month lose my whole pay and then live a life of poverty. You have the willpower to manage 10 months so get right back on it, get your head and mindset together and you’ll be good. The past is the past, it’s hard but try your best to move on x
If I can give you 1 piece of advice after starting gambling around 21 myself and now being 36, stop it now before you get to your 30’s or 40’s and look back thinking why didn’t I tackle it then.
You’ve already identified you have a problem and can’t control it so accept that and deal with it now or youll have to address it later on anyway and all you’ll have to show for it is greater financial losses.
