hope you are all well and enjoying your Sundays.
I am a 26 year old compulsive gambler. I have gambled since I was 18 and had a serious problem since I was 23. In the three years that I have gambled seriously I think I have probably managed to lose around £40,000. Such a crazy amount when I write it down. People are aware I have had a problem in the past but think I am working through it. Unfortunately I am not and if anything my gambling is becoming worse.
That is what has brought me here. A big loss today after thinking I had won some money back and started to get everything back on track. My weakeness is blackjack and roulette P, in the bookies or online. I have today self excluded myself from the online sites I go on and from the local bookmakers. I have had enough and today I want to change, I want to be like other people and be gamble free. I have said to myself so many times that I won't gamble again but never wanted to stop, now I want to stop more than anything. I want to stop for my family and myself. I will beat this and tomorrow I will wake up and not gamble.
any support would be so greatly appreciated as I am about to have a tough fight.
