Ive have not lost any money and made £2000 profit but i got a headache feel depressed and feel such a strong urge to carry on and i want to tell myself to stop. Im 18 and got a scolarship for next year in a Russell group university and i don't want myself to go in a dark path, i just cant focus in school anymore all i think about is roulette and money, Money is not making me happy anymore.

Lots of people start the downward spiral with a large win. It's a deliberate ploy to suck in the unwary and the gambling industry employ expensive IT experts to keep their 'lucky' punters in action. You've very sensibly recognised you have a problem early. Take it seriously, act on the warning signs and make your mind up to walk away. Self exclude you accounts, change email address, tell your parents, get them to take it seriously. Let them look after your money and install effective blockers to your devices. Think about why and how you have been sucked in to this and what issues may need addressing. The alternative is still to be posting here in five, ten, twenty years time having lost everything.

Hi pj as Lethe says, stop now while you can. Retrain your brain to do something else. It will ruin you, don't be dragged back in.

Hi

Like all people that have gambled everyone seems to win first time and think to themselves this is easy money !!! How WRONG could we be, you won't be the first and definitely not the last to experience this and my advice is to stop now before it escalates, you only have to read people diaries on here that have gone to university and ended up dropping out due to gambling taking over there lives. I would be telling my parents if I was yourself and I know it's something you probably don't want to do as you will be scared as to there reaction and yes it might not be nice but believe me they will want to help you so you don't get addicted to this horrible disease. Talk to people and just be honest with them !!

All the Best

Darren

As everyone has said, self exclude yourself from the website and take the money whilst you can. I started off betting at uni and won a few grand. This was never enough and over a 2 year period since I yoyoed up and down from 5k up at one point to being a 94th minute goal away from losing my entire rent for the year. I wish I had walked away when 2k up but soon realised it didnt't matter how much i was up or down by no ammount would ever be enough and i'd still want more.

Take the 2k and run before you end up losing it then lose susstanblly more chasing it.

All the best mate
