Hello, after abstaining from gambling for 14 months I relapsed resulting in a loss i can't afford to do anymore . This has taught me that i can't give this addiction up without having full blocks Gamstop Gamcare Gamban and mose, its a waste of time trying to give up without blocks in place.

Nice to hear from you but sorry you've relapsed. You're absolutely right about having blocks in place. Will power alone will never stop a compulsive gambler. A wise man on here told me it's impossible to have too many blocks in place. I started gambling aged 15 in 1970 & finally stopped in 2018 aged 63, it's never too late Johnny.
Back then I was 20k in debt and my life was just so miserable. I also created misery for those that loved & cared for me. Waking up every morning thinking o*g what did I do yesterday & why was I so stupid putting myself in more debt. Then thinking I need to beg, borrow or steal to gamble myself out of this mess. Same old cycle repeated over & over again.
Seeking professional help like counselling was the first step in changing my life for the better. Also meeting some good genuine people on here. It's wonderful waking up with a clear concience every day & having nothing to lie about in order to hide my losses. Gambling took so much from me & the constant chasing of losses was just a sad miserable existance.
I'm truly sorry for my past life & those i hurt, I can't change the past but I can change the future one day at a time. I'm not here to tell you I' ll never gamble again I'd never get complacent. What I can tell you is I'm now happier than I've ever been in my adult life. I really don't want my old life back.
If my counsellor had said to me in 2018 by 2025 you'll be out of debt & have a little bit saved if I ensure all blocks are in place, I'd have laughed at her, but thankfully I'm blessed to be in this position. There's no reason whatsoever you can't achieve these things Johnny if you're serious about putting all blocks in place.Â
I used to dwell on the money I've lost in almost 5 decades of gambling & it was hard to accept what's gone's gone but it's true. We can't win because we can't stop. Get the blocks in place Johnny & remember it's never too late to stop. Good luck on your journey.
