Hi guys/gals,

I needed somewhere to vent. Im currently in a debt management plan due to a number of years of being silly with money. Over a year ago I came clean to my partner about my debts (over 20k at the time).

They were very understanding and didnt make a big deal of it, I fully blocked all the normal sites even Gamston etc on my phone.

during that period i was working more feeling good about getting on the right track etc, then below...

now I feel like lately there's been a lot of gambling adverts everywhere and I guess over time they got me thinking... I ended up on a crypto casino, was actually substantially up, they made withdrawing very difficult and I lost it all plus more (probably about 2k in total spread over a few weeks)

I had this money saved , I have also made next month very difficult money wise even after lending money (ffs).

Im so disappointed and upset I've fallen back into it so easily, I need atleast 4-5 months to get my savings back and all be ok again.

Now the part i need advice on - i want to fix this myself and get the savings back before telling my partner again, at that point I want to tell them I relapsed and im ordering new cards that they control and watch all my finances.  I'd appreciate some opinions on this - im sure at some point they might ask about savings or something and I dont want to lie...

Thanks and id also appreciate any advice in stopping forever.

Same here relapsed after  14 months , I know how you feel. The only thing we can do is literally put all blocks  in place and self exclusions .This illness / addictions can't be overcome with just will power, without blocks we don't have no chance.Take care
