Checking in early for bornagain - best wishes for your interregnum!

Many thanks again to Mr B - enjoy your well-deserved holiday in the sun.

Congratulations to all fellow-soldiers on their individual milestones, and a special 'hello' to Wolfgang - missed you!

And thank you to JamesP for such a wonderful and wise contribution. What an inspiration you are to all of us - such an asset to this site.

Thanks folks......

Although Phil.......if I knew you were going for an interregnum then I'd have asked someone else to step into the breach - sounds really painful.....like a camera is heading somewhere it shouldn't!! Lol!! Whatever it is, I hope it goes well!!

Every day is a school day Joanna 🙂

Mr B

PS RST - good luck with the exams!!

Hi Shortie,

You're good mate - you're in the team and have checked in really early, not late!! Have a look at the update on page 244, you'll see that you feature in the group!!

Also, look at the very first post on this thread and you'll see the general rules of the challenge and when you need to check in and stuff.......

....the short story is you're doing everything right!! Just keep going!!

Hello all, Daz here. I've been struggling with a gambling problem for 2 years lost around 20k at casinos and online slots. This is day 1 for me really want to kick this nightmare addiction that's caused me so much depression.

Hope I've got the strength to stick with you all on this.

Hello.

Just seen this challenge and would like to join in.

My name's Davie and i'm on day 14 of not gambling. I was a CG for nearly 30 years and am happy to say that i never want to gamble again. In the short time since i stopped i have regained a little bit of self respect , but a lot of hope.

I am determined i'll never gamble again and would love to do this challenge with like minded people. This site has already helped me no end and i have been amazed at the support and the kindness on here. Thanks

Hi all

Hope you have had a good weekend -the weathers been brilliant - we hit the beers satdy afternoon and woke up a bit groggy this morning...it's the wife's birthday today (44) and this afternoon we went out for a drive in the Peak District it was beautiful.

I was looking at my lovely wife today and I realised that I am delightfully lucky to have this adorable person in my life- I am feeling much better now that I don't have to lie about 'what I did today',cover my tracks and hide the bank statements..

I'm sure there's lots of you out there who have done the same!!

My life is SO much better now I'm on my journey to recovery -this is how life should be 😉

I'm looking forward to my jollies a week on Friday..can't wait 😉

Welcome to the newbies and good luck on your journeys, use this brilliant site to grow,to help and support you

We are in debt to those who run and support us here - again thank you to Mr B for his input, comments and commitment to us ( I'm going to nickname you mr lukozade as you refresh us and give us a boost every week !!! )

Have a great week guys stay strong, positive and gamble free

I am a compulsive gambler

I am a happier Glads dad ( I like this feeling cheers)

Evening everyone from gloriously sunny Scotland - now that's a sentence you'll only hear approximately 6.25 days per year!! 🙂 Lol!!

I've quickly updated the front page for today (quiet huh? Reckon the weather is getting people out and about!!).

Main reason for posting is to let the 3 guys who have expressed and interest to join the team in the last 48 hours (dgr, daz71 and vtr729) that I've left a message for each if you on the very first page of the update. Please have a look at that and take it from there - a couple of asks, very similar for all of you!

Have a lovely night everyone and enjoy the weather!!

Mr Brightside

PS Gladsdad - wonderful post last night - makes my heart sing to read that a soldier is in that place!! Many thanks for your kind words!!

Welcome to the new soldiers, its great to have you here, hope this place can help you as much as its helped me.

I've just got in from work, been a mad busy day for me, sorted loads of problems out and feel a lot better. I was in such a dark place but there is starting to be a lot more light at the end of the tunnel. I have two days off work now, and its started to rain.....typical! More stress tomorrow morning followed by lots of beers, then some more beers, then maybe a few more 😉

Hello everyone! Only joined here yesterday and have read through most of these threads. They are really inspiring and you all amaze me with your team spirit and positivity. I would love to be a new recruit and join this challenge if you would have me 🙂 It is only day 2 for me, so very early days but just reading all of your threads has made me feel that this is a reachable achievement and its mine for the taking.

Enjoy your holiday Mr Brightside and thank you so much for your entry in my recovery diary. 🙂

Wishing you all a positive and blessed week x
