Day 81 for me. Hope everyone has a good week
Checking in on day 115 glad to say still gamble free
Check in day 50 half a century.
Hoping the challenge continues to run and if Phil doesn't continue to run it then I hope a fellow soldier who has the time to do it steps in. Even if it's just to keep it running with a weekly count of days done if everyone checks in their days each week to save anybody collating the data. I've found the challenge extremely useful this year and hope it may continue.
Checking in on 191 days. Over 6 full calender months have been and gone since I last gambled on xmas eve.
Had plenty of time on my hands this week as not been at work. Visited bradford city center Monday weds and today and not once did I consider doing the unthinkable.
checking in for this week

If this is the last week on here
All the best to everyone here
Stay away from gambling

Good morning everyone,
It's been a very difficult week on the forum for a number of reasons and we have seen some excellent people move on and continue their recovery efforts elsewhere. I fully respect each and everyone on your decision as we all use a different method of trying to beat our gambling addiction.
I will continue to check in each week and add up my total of gamble free days on a weekly basis as this has helped me in my recovery for over the past 18 months. I would personally like to thank all of the people who have contributed in the huge success of this forum and the 2014 challenge. If it was an awards ceremony then both Phil and Mr B would be receiving gold medals. Well done lads and you will truly be missed for your efforts as you have both helped many people in trying to beat this nasty addiction that everyone who joins the challenge is trying to defeat.
For the people who are staying I will fully support you in your recovery and look forward to watching your progress for the remainder of 2015.
Anyone else you just wishes to come on here and cause trouble ( you know who you are) then please go elsewhere as you are honestly not welcome!
Mike checking in to report 569 gamble free days.
Checking in, will hit 6 months tomorrow so feeling really pleased with myself. I know I would not have achieved this without this challenge.
Would like to say a massive thank you to Phil for the time and effort he as put in to running this forum, it seems you have been treated very harshly by the chat room moderator from what people who were in the room at the time have commented.
It does make you consider whether this is the best place to recover from this addiction, however I know without this forum and its members there is no way that I would have achieved where I am today so I have decided that I will continue to check in and hopefully complete the year gamble free.
Keep strong all wherever you decide to fight this addiction.
Scott
