A big congratulations this week to Mike happy days who hit 600 days this week. Mike has also made some excellent posts in the challenge this week about the difference stopping has made on his life.
MrStop reached 200 days this week too and this is a great achievement.
Joining the century club this week there's three... bright future, nomorelosing, A86N!
Some fantastic posts this week and many of you remembered to post a top tip or just share a little about how stopping has positively impacted upon your life and those around you. Thank you for sharing 🙂
No problem reached 4 weeks this week and Emily82 hit 2 weeks. These early weeks make all the difference in your comittment to this challenge and you can now build on this solid foundation and see out the next 5 months gamble free.
Wishing you all a great week and happy holidays if you're going away !

Thank you Clare, always get a little buzz seeing my name with the number of days growing beside it each week! Checking in safely for this week, will be doing battle against the evil demon day by day. Keep fighting fellow soldiers x
Hi,
I would like to join the challenge as everyone seems to offer good advise and support in our battle to change for the better.
My story is similar to a lot of yours starting with the weekend football coupons, then the fobts, then the online casinos. Lost literally tens of thousands during the last 10 years.
Currently on day 14.
Quit before for over a year, but fell back into the old bad cycle.
Hi TheGhost and welcome to the 2015 Challenge! Well done on reaching 14 days gamble free it's an excellent start and the days will build up one at a time. Keep strong and safe and remember just for today I will not gamble, good luck x
Welcome TheGhost
Welcome to the challenge and congratulations on already reaching two weeks. If possible, check in again towards the end of the week and let us know how you've got on. The first few days and weeks tend to be the toughest in my opinion, but with the determination to succeed it does get a little easier as you find other things to occupy your time.

Checking in on day 507.
Steve.
Checking in on day 1
yes thats right, had a moment of weakness and should have known better
just have to knuckle down and forget this minor blip
Keep strong soldiers, it only takes one moment of weakness which could lead to days, weeks even months before refocusing.
Im confident that yesterday was just a small bump in the road for me.
thanks clare
checking in this week 514 days but never forgetting today is the most important day
Sonic Boom Hope you're ok and good you've come straight back on here to continue your recovery. The main thing to remember is nothing's changed. You are still 200 plus days into recovery for 2015 with the same knowledge and determination that got you there. You had a minor blip and reset the days counter.....however you've been honest with yourself and us and Triangle's spot on in what he says. Today is what matters and saying today I will not gamble is what you must now continue to say.
Be alert to the potential of chasing losses (if there were losses I hope not substantial ones). It is a risky time after a blip and can be difficult (but very possible) to jump straight back into recovery. If you have any way of minimising access to funds it could be a good idea to do something like that to help you stay gamble free in the next few days. Only you can decide whether you need to take any steps like this.
Best wishes and I know you can do it.
Clare
Welcome back GT congrats on your week one done.
Hi Clare
You are doing a really great job - appreciated!
Happy to say i am checking in on 100 days no gambling.
Last few days have been tough on a personal level and i've so wanted to gamble but i can't.. not this time.. i've now got 300,000 reasons not to gamble ever again.. i'm sure you can all guess what they are..
cheers
bf
Thanks bright future ! Congratulations on 100 days and well done for resisting during tough times.
Morning all,
Sonic Boom (Mark) sorry to hear of your minor blip, yes it is minor, and you have showed great moral courage to come straight back on hear to report your small error. Your doing really good and I am sure you will be able to dust yourself down and continue with your recovery.
Well done bright future for reaching 100 days, may it long continue.
Great weekly update Clare. Thank you for your continued time and effort supporting others in this forum.
Have a good week.
Mike
