Just joined this site today, I've has a serious problem for about 5 years now and the last few months i've known I need help but too ashamed to tell anyone, I lie to people and act like life is perfect but I feel I am drowning, I don't socialise with friends as I never have money to do anything anymore, but on pay day I head straight to the bookies and blow the lot leaving myself broke for the month. I've had enough!! today I decided only I can stop this, but I also need help and support to get me through. so here I am, reading comments from others going through the same thing makes me feel like I can do this, I know it wont be easy but i'm ready for it, I want my life back, I don't want to hate myself anymore and everytime i lose i do that, so here's to day one of not gambling day 2 here I come.

onwards and upwards

Chris

Deano & Oldham. I think the thought of this challenge kept me on the straight and narrow last weekend as i wobbled. So, a big thankyou for that and also for the obvious time and effort in keeping this challenge going.

Strength and honor

Volcano comments like that make the effort worthwhile.
My hat's off to everyone who continues to check in every week.

It would mean the world to me if we can get as many members as possible over the year mark come December 31st.

All the best to everyone for the coming week.

Chose life

Deano

Had a small footy bet yesterday of course didn't win. Only a small stake but today is day 1 again. Still no high stakes online so a positive there. Checking in good luck to all.
