I hadnt gambled for almost a month until i had a quick deposit of £20 last weekend, 5 days later and that £20 has turned into £100.

My pattern seems to be 4 or 5 weeks without gambling then getting a feeling of doing well so whats £20 but then it never ends with that £20, always lose more.

I am with natwest and i spoke to them a few months ago about blocking gambling deposits for me and i was told it was possible so i thought great only to then be told it wasnt.

Is there any banks which can put certain blocks in place?

Gambling has been in the news a lot lately, worryingly more people gamble on football then play it these days apparantly, more needs to be done to prevent it

Dear CM3003,

Have you considered putting blocking software on your devices so you can't gamble online?

There's more information on our website:

Best wishes
