I hope your ok I really do. I have been where you are although I was too much of a coward to do anything to myself. I don’t think people understand the depths of what this evil addiction does to you and I struggle every day with my demons.

I am hoping one day to be free from this evil addiction and be able to live some kind of a normal life. Please post and let us all know your ok. Your not alone.

Hi Mike..
I wanted to end it in August. Life is better now. I rung Samaritans and Mind. And I also rung this site.

Go to this site.. Gordon Moody. Its a self refer place. Its like a retreat. Where you will get help. Its actually recommended on the NHS site and under problem gambling.

This is what it says..

'We here at the Gordon Moody Association have found that a serious gambling addiction is not something that you can free yourself from without help and without changing the way you think, feel and behave. You will need to look at your life; the experiences that may make you feel different from everyone else; and then plan the way forward taking into account the strains, stresses, aims and ambitions that make you gamble.

If you need assistance with completing the form please call us and we will be happy to help. We look forward to hearing from you soon'.

[email protected]
01384 241292 Gordon Moody helpline.

On the website is a email address and a telephone number. Please don't give up. Give yourself a chance. Be nicer to yourself.

You have already reached out for help here. Just ring that number and get the advice and a placement you need.

Bella xx

Mike,
Like @kev71 says tell your family. Because the loss of you will be far greater than loss of money from a addiction. A friend took her own life because she couldn't pay the bills. A couple found her body in a park. She left a 15 yr old son. Its a ripple effect of sorrow. But.. One that you can get better from.

Go to the hospital and ask for help in A&E.

Hugs Bella xx
