Over ten years ago I used to have a major problem with roulette and slots I lost around 40 thousand pounds. I self excluded from casinos arcades and bookies.

Two weeks ago I started gambling again I’ve lost around 2 thousand pounds I’m worried that I’m going to spiral out of control.

I have used Gamban and I’m talking to someone from NECA can anyone help me I’m so stressed out over it.

Hi Lynsey,

I'm only 3 months gamble free after 10 years of gambling almost every day! You probably already know, but I would definitely make sure you have all of the blocks in place you can. Gamban app, Gamstop and MOSES for stores near you.  This certainly helped me with the stress of it all, knowing I had no way to gamble.  I've also given someone I trust control of my bank account for now, I can still pay for things I need with google/apple pay, but it just helps to know someone else can see I'm not using any money to gamble.

You stayed away from it for 10 years! So you know its doable! Get all the bans in place and good luck staying gamble free.

Hi Shaw

Thanks for your reply I have put all the stops in place. I’ve been that obsessed I’ve even been playing on roulette blackjack and slots for free. It has totally got into my head again!

Ah awesome, I just wanted to make sure! A big problem of mine throughout the years was not fully committing to blocking every avenue possible, always leaving a door open somewhere.  This time I can honestly say I've left no way of doing it, and its the biggest relief.

Do you think theres a reason/has something happened that has made you feel like you want to gamble again after so long? I'd be intrigued to know if you were happy to share.
