Thank you mate, but I'm no legend, just passionate about anyone on their own road to recovery

That said, thank you. It feels like a real number now. Next stop six months, one day at a time

Hi Hopeful

Thank you but we are all a big part of this community. I read all your posts and take something from each one, just like others reading them

Just keep showing up on this site, that's all any of us can do. We owe that to ourselves

Stuart B - my ex-husband!!🤣🤣🤣🤭.

Well, well well, 150 days g.f. Give that guy a medal!🏅.

Stuart, you may think I am going overboard giving you a gold medal for such a wonderful milestone achieved but I know I am not. I remember when you first joined here and I was one of the first few people who commented on your diary.

To say that you gambled for 40 years solid, day in, day out, to then go 150 days so far g.f is an absolute fantastic achievement 👏👏👏👏👌. Not only have you successfully done this but you have managed to continue on your journey positively whilst facing the most toughest of personal problems/challenges too! We both know however and agree with the saying “honesty is your best policy”. I truly do believe and hope that this will stand you in good stead going forward 🤞🙏🙏🙏.

Now, let’s consider the subject “support”. You have given your all supporting others on here (including me). You have offered advice and encouragement too and you have been generous with your time in doing so 👏👏👏👏💙. I have mentioned this before that not everyone on this site offers support to others, rather, they remain insular. This is fine as it’s their individual journey. Me however, respond well to positive support, praise and encouragement from fellow diary members. I want to thank you personally for your continued support and praise to me and many others on this site and the time you set aside to respond to many💙.

I hope you have a lovely weekend and as you know only too well “Pink strongly believes in treating oneself for achieved milestones”, no matter how small so make sure this applies to you too!

Take care.

Your friend Pink Lady 🩷🍎.

Hi Pink

I've treated myself to a few tears after reading that. Thank you for those incredibly kind words. They mean a lot but there is never any need to say thank you. My thanks goes to this whole community. Whether you post, reply, read or just turn up, that's what it all about.

Really hoping some of my UK community come to the zoom next Thursday on Evive. Cameras can be switched off, all anyone needs to do is introduce themselves. No need to share if you don't want to

Hi Stuart,

Wow 150 days gf. It is a really  big achievement for a gentleman who gambled for 44 years. As you said one day at a time , it all adds up! Thank you for all your kind  support and numerous sharing at the chatrooms as well as on the forum.

All the best!

Hi Ann

Seem to be losing replies today. Just posted a thank you and see you on the chatroom tonight.

By the way, on the subject of cheese that we talked about the other night, I've tried cheddar with chives and garlic from Tesco. It's amazing 🤩
