Another recovery day..... today ive been pretty easy on myself...... woke up midday ...... had a pot noodle then my brother in last, nephews and niece came over,,,,,,, played computer games...... then went round folks and played monopoly and had dinner...... then gamcare chat at home...... then played computer and chatted to a friend.......  Really its been a lovely saturday.....

Got paid yesturday and ive transferred 200 to a savings isa...... 300 will go to my other savings account...... then got 700 for all bills and food......

Gaming wise heard that new ps6 and xbox magnus will be out end of 2027 which is great as means i can get with my argos vouchers.....  Think ill get ps6 as can use vr2 with it....... but will see what the research into it next year shows......  Still not spent anything on gaming since august so thats great for saving money....

Steps wise just did 2k today on my rest day....... 84k for the week...... Onto the next week now........  Will look to not overdo it.....want to ease into the week and make sure im healthy for work..... speaking of which a lot of people been ill at work with nasty cough cold but thansk to washing hands all the time and not touching doors that much etc ive managed to at the moment stay clear of illness thankfully.... hoping ill can get thru feb without an illness and sickness tally will improve.

Got my review this week will update hoping its good....would lioke some improved motivation and an increased confidence and self esteem from it but that would no doubt be step too far prob just be meadiocre.

I really fd up my fant team...... made massive impulsive error...... one error too many me thinks..... dont think ill be able to catch now after leading for half the season im now mid table..... oh well onto next season.

Holiday wise i might either have rwo long weekends in march when the champions legue matches are on or have a week off a easter....... or try and get even further.... we will see ill book up once others in my dept start to book.

I have now done 80% of races 1st place in gran turismo...... 2% up in two weekends.... been going thru eahc race in order completing them...... very fun......  Forza 6 comes out in may so id like to get as far as i can in gran turismo by then so i can then focus on the new game.....

diet wise i took my chocolates back to mums and dads for safekeeping...... they do me no good as i cant resist and have them numerous times a day.....

Onwards i go to my next goals......

Hi Adam

No harm in a rest day especially after the steps this week which you have won hands down mate. Always refreshing to hear that you have called it another recovery day after over 6 years. No one can be complacent can they and we all have to take one day at a time. A friend of mine in GA was on the phone this week and said the words "if I make it to 13 years". That didn't shake me, it just made me more determined and your comment above is another jollop of recovery medicine to keep me going mate. We are all in this together and I thank you for your support.

Stuart

Hi Adam

Hopefully Taz, Johnny, Henry and Ann will read this as well as I've added this to my support network and it's a great app. Have you joined Evive app yet or taken a look ? It's freezing and is superb. I think you would really enjoy using it. I think in your phone store you search for get Evive. It's run by people with real passion and knowledge in recovery and there are loads of gizmos and features.

See you at 8 mate

Come you spurs !!!

Will be sitting down at 430 in a comfy chair and a coffee to watch the game, maybe a pastry for half time

@adam123

Hi Adam

Good idea. I've only done 4,100 this morning but at least I walked to Tesco rather than drove. Met up with a friend from GA and had a great chat and did some shopping. We are popping out in the car and will try and do another 4k later without missing spurs. If you find me on Evive, go to messages and write one then you can search for users, I'm on there and we can chat directly and you can help me continue with my recovery mate one day at a time.

Stuart

evening dear diary....... well today i done my average 11k steps at work....then was pretty tired but a friend said that hed done 20500 steps today...... so my competitive juices flowed....... so i carb loaded with bolognese then made a cuppa and stepped my way to the gym and done an hour on the treadmill..... then walked back...... ending on 20560 for the day..... wow im too competitive.......

So im noticing the overdoing it steps wise early and nipping it in the bud...... ive done 37500 in two days..... ive been to the gym 18 times in last 30 days..... so ill take a break from the gym now till sunday (start of fresh week)..... ill just do my steps at work then focus on gaming and footy and resting the rest of the tuesday to saturday...... actually sounds great to me......

Tomo is the chelea semi final with arsenal im hoping for a rare chelsea away win at emirites to help my fant team in getting a double game week in 26...... if arsenal win ill do the free hit that week to get as many double week players in as possible..... but if chelsea win ive already got three chelsea players so thatll be perfect.... dont see it happening tho.... but its only a game and theres only one goal in it.....

Ive now played something like 204 hours of gran turismo and im plowing thru each curcuit race getting first position and aiming to get further to completion....really enjoying it.....

Ive had to phone dentist today to make my check up sooner as ive got a niggle.....its in two weeks now so hoping itll not be anything major.

So here i am in what has seemed like a very tough day....... Woke up had my review at work..... and although the review was relatively fine i allways seem to have a down day at work on my review day...... was just super low...... so came home after work didnt even get my free waitrose coffee on way back just went to bed and slept for a few hours till 6 pm........  then cooked had a bath and then went on chat for ten minutes finished that early....... but then i found out a game i really wanted for my virtual reality set is out yesturday..... its a plane simulator so bought it and downloaded tonight...... gonna play this weekend...... Really looking forward to it.....

So that has brightened a really really tough day.
