With the support of my sister, I am now 2 days free from gambling. I have realised the grief of losing my mum started me gambling again. I vow to write on here each day and beat it again as I had done before.Â

Hi there, well done on doing 2 days - I remember the struggle.Â
I lost my mum last year. I had stopped gambling 2 weeks before she died and I spent those last 2 weeks in a chair next to her. I disnt want to be anywhere else. After my mum died, I vowed that I'd give it up for her. I'm now 308 days gable free a d owe it all to her. I know she was so proud of me in life but the gambling was hard for her. If I ever get tempted, I think of her and how I want to make her proud without anything to make her sad.Â
Its hard but her death has saved me.
