So I have adjusted my grateful list for general consumption. It is on Mixer's thread. I will keep the original and may post it here for reflection one day.

Hi All,

so pleased you really enjoyed Chat this evening. I've been looking at staffing, we perhaps could run an extra long Chat (1,5 hrs) on the 24th from 8PM to 9:30 PM.

And just a reminder that regular Chats will be ongoing over the holidays, every day 1 PM and 8 PM.

All the best,

Eva

I think I have now been awake for 40 hours. Surely I should just drop off to sleep like any normal person ?

?? That has made me laugh!

I have only just woken up, amazing night's sleep. Feeling a little hungover although I didn't drink much last night tbh. Heading for a large cup of one of the well known high street brands coffees I think..

Thank you Murlo for posting on my diary.

Wishing you every happiness over the weekend.

Great latin song for your playlist "Whatever Lola Wants" by Sarah Vaughan.

Dear Diary. Day 48 gamble free. Getting ever closer to the half century land mark.

Not a great deal to report today. I started on call again at 9am, only just woke up in time ?. I have had a bit to do for work today, nothing major. Just ticking along nicely. I called the family that I went to see overnight on Thursday/Friday.  I promised that I would in case they has any questions that has popped up after I left then Friday morning.

I haven't really been out and about much today due to work. That suits me. I don't like the pre Xmas mayhem on the roads. I am happy here at home, fire on, music on.

I have not had an urge to gamble at all. Second day in a row. That feels really good. I haven't smoked. That feels really good too.

I am on call again tomorrow. Hopefully I will get through a Sunday without any hiccups this week. I cannot see why I shouldn't, I am in a good place today.

If I am kept busy with work overnight, that will be fine. I slept well last night.

Have a good evening all x

My hubby has just come up with a great idea. We are thinking of various ways to help raise money for a mutual friend that has been diagnosed with a serious illness. One of the things he has suggested is making a daily donation equivalent to the amount I would have spent on smoking. Now there is an incentive to keep going ?

Morning, I managed to fracture and dislocate a finger last night. Just returned from having it put back in place. That was sore ?

Murlo it has saddened me to read that you have dislocated your finger. My thoughts are with you and I hope it heals quickly. I will say a prayer later and ask the angels to help.

Looking forward to tomorrow when you reach the 50 day gamble-free market. I will raise my arms to the sky and applaud your excellent progress.

I am impressed with your decision to donate your smoking money to the friend who is suffering from a serious illness but be careful not to put too much pressure on yourself. You are a super duper lady who is deserving of great love, kindness and respect and I wish you every happiness over the coming days, weeks and months.

Stephen x
