Hiya Dunc.....just had a mini slip but am on track again now .Great support on here and a swift kick up the b**t and am on the right track.

Hoping by now that the new addition Doggy to your family is with you and you are all feeling proud owners.

Also hoping Hovis the right name for your wuff and that it suits his personality....

Suggest doggy walking rota goes on the fridge now with penalties attached for no shows ...lol

Great fun to be had Duncs and a great time of year to get a pet as you can be out and about in the sun when it finally sticks!

Keep that choccy out of sight along with grapes.... ...never realised about those two culprits with doggy digestion..

Keep us posted on how you are all bonding....heres to a quiet night with no howling xxxx lol

Yo

Thought you might chose the sticks. I have no doubt that if you put half the effort you put into this site, ga and your recovery , you will have them eating out of your hand in no time.

As for Hovis, great kindness taking him on, but I am sure he will give you much happiness , just so long as he does not pee up your tree.

Ok maybe I should not consider giving up the day job to become a comedian , but the world loves a trier.

Sleep well , haven taken your weekly dose, just thought will your new job cause you problems getting to GA?

day87. Well we did get a sleep in our respective beds! After a war of whos nerve would break first! Lol hovis had underestimated the resolve of the cg so he gave up howling after 40mins and slept all night! GA last night dished up more medicine and 1 new member hope they return next week, i will still be able to attend my meetings through my honesty with my new boss have arranged thursday nights off and last night on my way he phoned to wish me luck for last nights meeting which was a nice touch. I remember that first journey to ga 13 weeks ago and it was a journey of shame i will hold that memory as the journey now is one of anticipation and comfort a medicine that really helps me. I am on the mornin dog watch! Then eldest takin over off to close up old job later. Duncs stepping forward NO BET TODAY.

Ho Ho Ho ...your a better one than I am on the holding out stakes..I managed about ten mins then gave in to puppy dog eyes and orphan annie look....Am sure I heard a Muttley laugh though when Dot finally took up residence under the duvet..!!

Your doggy is well and truly at home and what a life..plus the second doggy that we know of in recovery..and reaping the benefits of a loving family Dunc..what a reward...

Dog number 2???...Bovil or Horlicks???

I know some folk don't like meetings or 12 step but for me its a lifeline and i shall always need some sort of group community support...keep taking that good medicine and we can give a spoonful of sugar (OR choccy)sometimes to make it more palatable during those tough bitter days....

Stepping forward (hopefully not in doggy P**P) not backwards.........

Those P**P bags are rubbish by the way...always need at least 3 to do the job..xxx

Hi,

Not sure when you will get this , but hope you first day went well. My mouth is watering just thinking of the dishes you are preparing as I post.

This week the sticks , next week Master Chef.lol

So pardon me for stating the obvious , but I am going to do it anyway .

Keep stepping forward , it is obviously taking you places.

excellent Duncs.....hoping life is all fun and frolics in the Mac house ....early starts can be hard but sometimes the day goes too fast anyway and the early morning can be the best bit......

A pal from years ago had chef for a hubby thinking all her mealtime dreams had come true.... she always ended up with beans on toast.... cooked to perfection though!!!.

Have a good day ...and wuffs to Hovis....xx
