Back from Holland now, had a really nice time with the guys and still gamble free 🙂
So massive day today! Today is payday, I've already paid off a load of money I needed too, normally would have just procrastinated and eventually lost it to gambling, so it's a nice feeling!

Hey Sam, this Payday I paid off large chuncks to debts I owed, I went to my local city and spent £150 on clothes, I also took my girlfriend out for dinner, all of these things gave me so much satisfaction, I don't have tons left but enough to live on assuming I don't gamble. 20 days strong so far! Good luck on your payday Sam! Pay some bills, have a treat and stay positive!

I would ocnsider explaining the situation to your girlfriend in full though. When I tried to give up months ago I was given this advice and thought it wasnt necessary and it would be fine, then of course I feel back into the trap and it got worse and she dfound out by mistake which made everything so much worse. Its so much easier I have found when those close to you know what is going on and can help and support you.
Totally up to you of course, but thoughr Id pass on what appears to be helping me. 69 days and going strong at the moment! All the best mate

I fully understand what your saying, and in time may very well tell her, she's knows bits, like I gambled to much and I've decided to stop, but maybe not the extent, in the future this may be something I share with her.
