Three months today and I feel a little proud with myself.

Ive had a fair bit of overtime and am managing to shift my debt so it remains interest free virtually so thats very pleasing.

I am very happy where I am at the moment. I won't be gambling again and that's because I got in so deep I had to ask my dad for financial help and told my wife everything.
Telling them is the reason I won't bet again. If I hadn't told them everything things would be very different.
So if you have a problem with gambling you cannot do it on your own you need to tell people and ask for help.

Here's to another 3 months

Hi Mba,

Fantastic going 95 days, just 5 off the big 100,

Telling those closest to us all, certainly is a big deterrent to never go back to gambling,

Lovely meal with the family last night.
It's now a pleasure spending my hard earnt money on my family which is what I said on my profile when I started my diary.

Ive also booked a Eurodisney paris trip for us all this year. This will be paid for with my Nans money she left us all so thank you nan.

2015 has started off really well and I'm looking forward to seeing my debt reduce whilst also spending money on the family too.

Happy times ahead

Mba

Enjoy your weekend Mba. Just think mate get over this weekend and your just about at the ton. Eurodisney with family is something to focus on and when they urges come back just think about your kids faces when they see Mickey. That is what life is all about.

Day 98

I am sitting here watching andy Murray in the tennis.

No urges to gamble. No interest in losing my money like I used to.

Very happy that I can say that. Roll on Tuesday and 100 days clean!!

Well done on 98 days mba.

Ain't it a great feeling to be out of gamblings grip and content with life.
I too watched some of the tennis, not remotely interested in a gambling sense.
We're different people now mba.

Well done and keep your guard up.
All the best trigger.

Euro disney is magical for the kiddies, your family will love it.

Afternoon, 100 days complete.

Thanks for all the comments above, the pic is my 2yr old daughter and I.

Yesterday I forgot it was day 100, a good thing really as it shows im not always thinking about gamcare gambling etc.

Got some issues at school with a child and their mother. Thinking they know how you should and shouldn't punish your own child. Only reason being we have told our daughter not to play with a certain child ,which she accepts as they got into trouble in school, but the other mum is trying to tell us the school punished them so that's that.
Er no we want our daughter to learn from her mistakes.
However because this girl our daughter won't be playing with now has no other close friends she's upset causing the mum to have confrontations with my wife saying they should be allowed to play together.
Now this woman has invited my daughters best friend round for dinner tonight knowing dam well its taking her away from my daughter trying to upset her.

Grr its this woman causing the trouble not the kids.

These situations make you understand gambling is nothing compared to this. Its my daughters happiness at school which is much more important.

Hopefully nothing is said this afternoon as my wife is expecting another lesson on how not to bring your kids up!!
