Thanks for your positive post Em.

Totally agree with your advice and for the moment its calmed down but my daughter (isabelle) is still to stay away from the trouble maker. Isabelle came home from school yesterday saying the other girl suggested they still play together but don't tell her mum. Isabelle refused which is very good of her.

Onwards and upwards, I'm off to a funeral today, my great uncle or my nans sister's husband. He was 92 so like my nan he had a long and happy life

Hi Mba,

I know what a kind and sensitive person you are, but you are also a very strong person, hope the day is not too sad for you.

Take care.

Thanks Suzanne,

It's amazing how well you know my personality, just from what I write on here.

Thanks again for your support, the send off was lovely. My nan was mentioned in the service as her and my great uncle fred spent alot of time together the last 10 years. Fish and chips every other week and breakfast' too.
Sent shivers down my spine when she was mentioned and a tear, but of the happiness she gave to fred once his wife, & her sister, rose, had died.

Anyway another day without a bet no thoughts either so all is good

Thanks.
Life is definitely so much better. I am still in debt owing over 15k however I now have money available and don't have to worry about normal life expenses anymore.
It feels like I am in credit and can buy what I want so it feels good.
I'm keeping busy doing anything and everything but not gambling and that is why im 115 days gamble free.

Cheers for the post mate. I have been thinking the last few days when putting my daily number up it felt better when the number meant something like ending in a 0 or end of a 7 day cycle but putting up 43 days gambling free felt a bit flat compared to 42(6 weeks) so that is how i have came up with the idea of trying to make each number meaning something. Some people likely would think that i am a sad b***ard with too much time on my hands but if it helps me stay off gambling and feel a little bit better about myself then i dont care what anyone thinks. I am actually looking forward to seeing what i can come up with in the coming weeks.

Hi Mba,

Thanks for your post, and hey 117 days, keep going and stay strong, don't think too much about tomorrow's number, it's just another day at one day at a time my friend.

Have a good gambling free day,

Very true Suzanne thanks.

Pay day today and my current account is currently in credit. Eventually it'll go back overdrawn- but for the momentВ being in credit feels good.
I couldn't have got here without everyone here and my family so a big thank you to all.

Hi Mba.

Glad to see your doing great mate. 117 Days is no easy feat so you should feel proud, 100 more days than I'm on, i can only aspire to be in your shoes but who knows i'll keep trying. No matter what your debt is, when you stop gambling you will always feel like you have more money because your not squandering it on nothing.

Keep on moving forward my friend, not one step backwards.

All the Best

Liam

118 days gamble free.
118 was one of the companies I had one of my last loans with showing how bad my credit rating had got through using payday loans etc. Using a company renowned for telephone adverts and two men with big moustaches for loan what a joke.

Anyway payday yesterday and I'm still in credit in my bank today so things are definitely improving.
