Woo hoo double figures, bit of a bad day yesterday. Earned some extra money selling our work products to people that would normally buy them from shops (not gonna name the products on here tho!!) I get them cheaper and make £20+ Per item, earned £130, which on the way home, I'd have lost the lot, and not battered an eyelid. So I did the right thing and gave it to my wife for the kitchen fund. Then 5 min later I had the black clouds roll in, and I couldn't explain it, I had the hump and bad headache all evening. I don't want these feelings everytime.perhaps because of previous times my addiction would have won, iv not thought about gambling for few days now, that has been fine, but as soon as I let the money go, my mood just changed. I wouldn't care less if I'd lost it in the bookies, so why did I feel so annoyed that it went to a good cause. God this addiction has some issues, I can see what people mean when they say its easy to give up when you've got no money. Have a good day everyone

Well done bud! think im day 10 today although trying to avoid counting the days so as to avoid pressure and just concentrating on the present! I know what you mean if I had £100 on me I could spin it all on roulette in a matter of minutes yet would begrudge paying £2.50 for a sandwich if I thought it should be £2.00 or 90p for a drink when they used to be 50p haha! weird how this addiction works!

Well done though another obstacle overcome on the journey, keep starving the addiction and working towards a better future. These moods come and go but keep acknowledging them and we will win the war!

Cheers stone, thanks for your support, when you actually write it all down, it don't make sense, how crazy we are to throw all this money away. It's not till you hold your hands up and say IV GOT A PROBLEM, then you take a step away from gambling and realise how much you've spent.it just takes hold of you, without you actually realising it. I see a thing in the paper today, ***** are targeting young NEW customers with their phone apps, for the gamblers on the go. How many of them poor sods are gonna end up on here. Far too easy!!! years ago you had to go to the payout window in the bookies to collect money, 3 windows to take bets, only one window for paying out. That's cos in the long run, there is only one winner.
