Trying to catch up on boxsets do anything to take mind off putting a bet on and try to win through life.

Glad football season coming to end as less temptation, will be hard weekend with the grand national but will avoid it all together and get out the house away from it all

Its another day but the Grand National Festival starting.  Hours and hours of coverage each day to avoid.  Or can I just watch and enjoy.

The Masters in Augusta too, I love watching the golf and I'm going too.  I need get grips with reality and realise there is a life without gambling.

Hey Greg7837

Well done on day 3 and on your determination to stop. Yes it's a tough time with a lot of sport happening now. Some people find it helpful to take a break from sports for a while, some avoid it altogether, and some find they can eventually relax and enjoy the event more if they're not worrying about betting. It's great that you're making use of the Recovery Diaries to update us on your progress too. I've combined your Day 2 and Day 3 posts together in one thread so you and others can see all your progress in one place. You could bookmark it so you know where to return to post your updates.

Best wishes for your ongoing recovery journey,

Deirdre
