Last Night shift tonight after 9 on the bounce!!! Glad to have a few days off with friends and family. 4 weeks done, lets hope the next 4 weeks are the same as these ones.......29 not out!!
Not posted for the since the start of the weekend as I have been extremely busy - Still no gambling though and very much still feeling strong. Day 33!!
Sorry I haven't posted for quite some time, I have been off work as my partner is expecting baby in 2 weeks time - I am on day 48 now and am still feeling positive. Nearly at the half century mark and it feels so good not to have gambled for this long. Far more productive in the household and spending more time with the little one.....Life is Good!!
Over 50 days!!! Feeling good, baby to be born in less than a week and honestly enjoying my life. Heres to the next 50 days........Good luck to everyone else quitting gambling!!
Day 60 tomorrow & day 61 will be the arrival of my 2nd baby boy xx

Again, apologies for not being on here for so long. I am 2 days away from 10 weeks gamble free and I cant tell you enough how much it appears to have changed my life dramatically. For the first few weeks, I was all over the place and had terrible mood swings but since then, I have felt normal. The urges have stopped quite considerably, I still get the odd couple here and there but nothing like they were and my wife has told me that it feels like she is married to a different person which made me smile. My wife gave birth to our 2nd baby boy on the 21st of April and the expereince of a kid this time has been totally different than last time. With our last boy I was still sneaking off for a spin and would not be able to buy anything for him. This time, I have been up thru the night with him and gone out to buy the things we need for him. I have also used my "pocket money" to buy some new games for my computer and clothes aswell as take the boys out.....Anybody reading this is in the first few days / weeks and are finding it tough...KEEP GOING, you will be rewarded!!!!

Thanks for your reply T......I will reach 12 weeks on Thursday (3 months) which was unthinkable at one time. Again, I have not been on as much due to being off on paternity and not having much time. I am now back at work for the first day and should be able to come on here more often to chat to some of you and compare our recoveries. I hope that you are still going strong T...100 Days approaching!!

Still Going strong on day 122....Just a quick update to say all is well and to wish all of you out there who are struggling to keep trying and keep working hard, your time will come. My life at the moment is stunning. So happy i once and for all made the change to Stop Gambling. Very Rewarding!!
Not posted for a few months and was sitting thinking about gambling so thought id post to say that I am still going strong and am now 179 days in, it has been a lot easier recently. However, the football season seems to have tiggered a few unwanted feelings. Found that my social circle is now smaller as a result of not gambling, but my family life is far more positive so i'll take that!! Keep going everyone!
