No more the slot fool, your now Mrs Supercool. Really impressed with your courage, attitude and determination.

After admitting to yourself you had a gambling problem you owned up to your husband. That takes courage.

You put blocks in place to make gambling less accessible. You have taken stock of your finances and made plans to get them in order. Hobbies, exercise and hard work have been the icing the cake. That cake, which is your gamble free life, is full of goodies and will be a vast improvement on the gambling misery cake.

Very proud of you but take care. We are always only one bet away from the downward spiral and the misery it entails.

Thanks Stephen, lovely of you to say so. I'm really pleased you decided to stuck around the forum, it would have been a shame for you to take some time away as you would be greatly missed. We all need advice from experienced people, such as yourself. Your words of wisdom have helped and inspired many. Thank you for that x 🙂

Today is definitely a milestone day for me. Not only am I very proud to say I'm one hundred days gamble free, it also marks 6 months from my surgery with no further health issues. Today is a very good day. I feel so good.
I was tempted to hit a fry up lol but opted for a 2hrs gym session instead.
My next goal is to be debt free and continue to rack up the gf days, one day at a time.

Good luck everyone, stay strong and have a great weekend.

That is made my day to see 150 days gamble free on your diary. I was feeling like progress was a trifle slow but you have lifted my spirits and given my resolve a boost.

Congratulations on your excellent progress but stay alert to the dangers. Gambling addiction is always lurking in the shadows and has caught me out a couple of times after 5 & 6 month gamble free.

I suspect I am a bit dim. The addiction told me I had done well and deserved a reward so why not treat myself to a session on the fobt machine. Sad that I could be so gullible but that's in the past now. Wishing you well ..stephen

Hi Slot Fool

Just thought I would pop in to say hello and make sure all is good with you?

I hope you are being distracted by fun and enjoyable things and times that 'normal' life can offer us.

Take care

46 and Out
